Maurizio Pecoraro Spring 2013

I loved this collection! I loved the minimalist shapes and earthy tones with Lilies splashed in the corner or the incredibly understated sequins (the only time I like sequins). Pecoraro alluded to South Korean painter Lee Ufan with his tonal block colours and simple but effective textures. I loooveee, very cool for Milan!

Jil Sander Spring 2013

Summer coats? Only Jil Sander could pull that off so perfectly. This collection was gorgeous, I've missed you Jil!

Gucci Spring 2013

Regardless of how flouncy the design, there is something incredibly refreshing about block colours. Especially when they're beautiful rich block colours. This was nice, I'm choosing to ignore the obscene crocodile/snakeskin sections...

Gianfranco Ferré Spring 2013

Can we all just marvel at the first dress on Bette here? PERFECTION. So clean, cleaner than Calvin Klein...

Francesco Scognamiglio Spring 2013

...pretty :).

Wearable adorable

Now, I have to admit...the show was too much for me. It's screamed the usual display of Dolce & Gabbana fun but it was just so overwhelming I could barely appreciate how playful it was.
I love that Dolce & Gabbana go crazy with the prints and the colours and just generally 'overboard' in their own way but it's starting to exhaust me.
Having said that...it was all made up by the perfection that was the SHOES OH MY GOD LOOK AT THEM.

Blumarine Spring 2013

So magical, so wonderful! There were dresses I would've dreamed up as a kid here, ones I wish I was wearing now and ones I'd kill to have the confidence to pull off.
I just loved this! But you all know I love anything dreamy...
