Sass & Bide Spring 2013

I feel a little odd liking this as I kind of...as a rule, don't like Sass & Bide. I generally find their collections too showy, their references too obvious and their embellishments blinding. This season was different though, a little quieter, which is nice.

Nicole Farhi Spring 2013

I've had a soft spot for Nicole Farhi since I started selling her menswear last year. Her work is so simple, so considered and so on point. Each piece works by itself, or with the rest of the collection. Her womenswear is feminine, but in the least intimidating way...I don't want to say 'slouchy chic' because it's not quite that...it's too beautiful. This is Nicole's last collection as the head of the design team! I'm sad to see her step down, albeit only slightly, but excited to see where the label goes!

Kinder Aggugini Spring 2013

Nothing ground-breaking about this collection...it's actually a bit SAFE for Kinder Aggugini? Nonetheless it's got Lissy written all over it's nautical colour scheme and sweet buttoned-up silhouette so I loved it!

Erdem Spring 2013

I'm a bit sad. I always LOVE Erdem, like it's usually my favourite from London...sometimes for the whole month. I didn't love it this time though, not much at all. I liked the colour palette, I liked the excessive mis-matched florals and pastels combined with brights fiery oranges and reds, but I didn't like the silhouettes. The three outfits I posted here, I love the silhouettes, but the rest of the show didn't quite fit into my heart. I don't know. I'm quite sure it's a purely personal thing though and that the show itself was as fantastic as usual!
